Goals and objectives of the college:

· To impart higher education to the eligible youths irrespective of casts , religion and gender. 

·To impart value – based education for all - round development of personality of the students.

· To impart such an education that is not only liberal but also relevant in its concepts and helps in generating a sense of self – reliance among the students.

· To enhance social awareness and a sense of social responsibility among the students.

· To promote positive thinking and sound mental health for inculcating a logical bent of mind among the students.

     The College, a co-educational institution, is dedicated to the all-round development of the total personality of students by imparting an education that is not only liberal but modern in its concepts, emphasising self-reliance. Consequently, the college is gearing up to address the requirements of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council under the U G C and the standards of excellence prescribed by it. The college also aims at giving opportunities to poor and meritorious students by granting stipends, free studentship and financial help from the Students' Aid Fund. 
    The objective of the NSS unit of the college is to enhance a social awareness, which favours integrated co-existence and a sense of social responsibility among the students. Another important objective of the institution is to promote a general feeling of well-being in the student community through its counseling cell with a trained faculty to promote positive thinking and sound mental health.
